If you are unable to visit the library due to age, illness or disability, you can participate in the Perth East Public Library Homebound Service. Through this service, a variety of library materials including books, paperbacks, large print, and audio books are selected and delivered to you free of charge. Inter Library Loan
An interlibrary loan will obtain books and other library material not owened by the PCIN libraries from libraries across Ontario.
All library materials requested on interlibrary loan are subject to the availability and interlibrary loan policies of the lending library. Borrowers need a valid library card to make an interlibrary loan request. The service is FREE unless the library lending the material charges for the loan. There is a charge of $2.00 for interlibrary loan items not picked up.
CELA- Centre for Equitable Library Access
The Centre for Equitable Library Access (CELA) makes it possible and easy for all public libraries in Canada to provide reading materials in accessible formats to patrons with print disabilities. CELA also provides training and support to help libraries deliver their accessible services effectively.
We can help you:
- Find books and magazines in audio, e-text and braille
- Read daily newspapers
- Enjoy classic movies, with the action described
- Help your kids discover a love of reading.

Photocopies and Printing
Black and white and colour printing from the computer and photocopy machine can be done at the Perth East Public Library. The cost to photocopy or print in black and white is $.25/page and $1.25 to print or photocopy in colour. Before printing, please ask the circulation desk.
Human Resources Development Centre Employment Sites
Perth East Public Library, in partnership with Human Resources Development Canada, provides 8 internet capable computer workstations(2 for children). The workstations are equiped with Microsoft Word and Excel software. The HRDC Career collections includes books on job search stratefies, resume writing and job descriptions. Wireless internet is also available at the library.
