You have just finished a really great book. What do you read next? Who writes in a similar way? Check out these websites to get some ideas. If you find books you would like that are not at Perth East, or one of the PCIN libraries you may be able to borrow the books through interlibrary loan.

Allreaders.com book reviews - This site contains reviews of books by genre and author.

Novelist - Novelist is a database that let's the user search based on a book's characteristics, writing style, etc.

What's Next? -Have you started reading a series and wondered what the next book is? This site from the Kent District Library will help.

Amazon.ca - An example of an on-line bookstore that is innovative in its services. It includes book reviews and suggestions of other titles of the same interest. It's good to quickly verify new titles, bestsellers.

Great Reads (Kitchener Public Library) - Booklists are created by popularity factor - New Releases, Top Ten Holds, Staff Picks

PIKA is a searchable database of children’s books. In addition to the Library and Archives Canada collection of 35 000 Canadian children's books, features from high-quality sources have been added. You can search by subject headings but there are also book summaries from Our Choice, published by The Canadian Children's Book Centre, and in Sélections, published annually by Communication-Jeunesse.
