Note: Items out are not due back on days when the library is closed. Items are due back the next day the library is open.
When the library is closed, items may be dropped off, in a bag, in the Book Return Slot located at the front door of the library. The Book Drop is emptied each day before the library is open but materials returned in the Book Drop remain the responsibility of the patron until they are checked in by the Library staff. Please ensure that materials returned in the Book Drop are in a bag (put your name on your re-usable bag if you would like to pick it up later) as damages easily occur when lose materials are dropped through the slot. A $2 fine will be levied on any account when materials are not returned in a bag and patrons will be held accountable for any damages that occur.

Board meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month @ 7:30
at the library.
Members of the public are welcome to attend these meetings.

The Perth East Public Library has developed written policies to assist the board and staff in ensuring the provision of fair, equitable, and consistent service to patrons and responsible financial management of the Library's resources. A copy of the PEPL Policy Manual is available upon request by contacting the Library CEO. Alternate formats will be made available upon request.
